What is ?
Ontario Post-Secondary Esports is a volunteer and student operated organization focused on integrating collegiate esports into the traditional post-secondary institution athletics system. OPSE provides schools with new ways to engage with their students, alumni, and local community.
Mid-august to October
Build your school rosters, practice as a team and hone your skills before the regular season through a series of exhibition matches against other schools.
October to February
Compete against other schools once a week in an online environment. During the season, the OPSE team will highlight individual talent and team play.
Claim victory for your school and battle through an intense playoff bracket for your share of $30,000 in scholarships and the title of OPSE Champion!
OPSE provides an excellent engagement opportunity for our students, in particular with the in-person restrictions due to the pandemic. The high level gaming competition allows for our students to compete, watch and cheer on our RAVENS. It is another way to build school spirit while also providing valuable real-world experiences for our students in organizational development and media broadcasting. Esports is a significant and growing industry. We are proud to have participated as a founding member and we look forward to what the future holds for OPSE.
